  Cops crash massive LA street takeover, towing 100 cars and detaining hundreds Cops sprung a massive sting on alleged street-racing hooligans in South Los Angeles early Saturday — reportedly detaining hundreds and preparing to haul away scores of vehicles. The Los Angeles Police Department told The California Post that officers issued a tactical alert at 3:21 a.m. and were still working the scene hours later, as of 9 a.m. No details were immediately available on arrests or citations from the LAPD. Video from the scene showed dozens of officers surrounding a massive crowd as people wandered between cars trapped at the intersection of South Figueroa Street and West Alondra Boulevard. Tow trucks stood by, ready to pounce.  Defense Headquarters Intensify Efforts For Release Of 39 Students,7 Teachers In Oyo State


The Defence Headquarters it had intensified efforts to  secure the release of the 39 students and seven teachers kidnapped in Ahoro Esinle community, Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.


The Director Defence Media Operations, Major General Michael Onoja, re-echoed this at the monthly briefing on ongoing Armed Forces operations across the country.


Defence Correspondent Ismail Musa reports that a total of 317 terrorists have been eliminated, 314 terrorists were arrested while 221 kidnapped victims were rescued in the last 30 Days

while Several criminal camps were destroyed and weapons recovered from different operations across the country
