 INEC DENIES REMOVING NDC CANDIDATES; CHALLENGES PARTY TO PRODUCE EVIDENCE INEC has described as falsehood the allegations by the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC that the Commission had removed candidates purportedly nominated by the party for the 2027 General Election and replaced them with names allegedly unknown to the party, particularly in respect of some State House of Assembly constituencies in Anambra State. Chief Press Secretary to INEC Chairman, Adedayo Oketola in a chat with our INEC Correspondent Mie Ogidi says INEC does not nominate candidates for political parties. The nomination of candidates is the responsibility of political parties, subject to compliance with the Constitution, the Electoral Act 2026 and other applicable laws, Regulations and Guidelines.  Again, EFCC Arraigns Blessing CEO Over Fresh Alleged N13m Fraud in Lagos


The EFCC, Lagos Zonal Directorate 2, on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, again, arraigned a social media influencer and self-acclaimed relationship therapist, Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, also known as Blessing CEO, over a fresh alleged N13,000,000 (Thirteen Million Naira) fraud before Justice Yelim Bogoro of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos. The EFCC filed a fresh six-count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence and retaining the proceeds to the tune of N13,000,000 against her, following the receipt of several petitions from individuals and groups, including the Nigeria Cancer Society. The petitioners allegedly made donations to the defendant after her social media posts claiming that she was battling Stage 4 breast cancer and seeking financial support for treatment. Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
