Frankie Muniz and his wife, Paige Price Muniz, have confirmed they are ending their marriage.
The Malcolm in the Middle actor and racing driver, 40, announced the news on Wednesday, July 1, in a post on social media.
“Life update! Following a period of separation that we kept private, Paige and I have decided to move forward with ending our marriage,” he wrote on X, alongside a video of the family dancing together. The clip was captioned: “Who says you can't stay best friends with your baby momma?”
Muniz said the decision followed a period in which the couple had already been living apart. He described the relationship as having shifted into a friendship and co-parenting arrangement after a decade together.
“After 10 beautiful years together, we’ve grown in ways that made us realize our relationship feels most natural and strong as a deep friendship and as co-parents,” he wrote.
He added that their son, Mauz, remains their main focus. The couple share a 5-year-old child.
Muniz also referenced his appreciation for Paige’s support during their relationship, noting her role in backing his career while raising their family.
“That foundation of respect and friendship isn’t going anywhere,” he wrote, adding that they intend to continue working together through Muniz Racing and co-parent their son.
Muniz and Price first met in 2016 at the Frank Sinatra Celebrity Invitational in California. They got engaged in 2018, eloped in 2019, and held a wedding ceremony in 2020.
Their son was born in March 2021. The family’s most recent public appearance together was in April at the New York premiere of Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair.
