"Bros, you are committing inc£st" Prince Eke tells Mr. Ibu amid allegations the ailing actor had an affair with his adopted daughter Jasmine Chioma Okafor.  An audio recording purportedly of John Okafor, aka Mr Ibu, has shocked many. Kano: Pressure Mounts on Tinubu Over Court Sacking of Governor Yusuf President Bola Tinubu has been warned by civil society organisations and political leaders to stop pursuing the removal of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano. The Forum for National Integration and Development warned that the removal of the Kano governor could lead to political instability and disunity in the country. NNPP Yusuf was sacked by the tribunal which declared APC Nasir Gawuna as the authentic governor of Kano, but judgment on his appeal is expected to be delivered this week  The Court of Appeal would be delivering its verdict on the redress sought by Governor Yusuf over his sacking by the Kano state governorship election petition tribunal.  

Civil society groups protest against alleged plans by Tinubu to sign a pro-LGBTQ agreement with the EU-ACP. Civil Society groups in Nigeria have urged Bola Tinubu not to sign an agreement with the European Union that allows for the decriminalisation of LGBTG in Nigeria.  Today, November 15, 2023, was set aside by the European Union (EU) to coax African, Caribbean, and Pacific (ACP) countries into signing an LGBT agreement between the EU and ACP countries.  For some months now, several meetings have been convened between the EU and ACP parliamentarians aimed at getting ACP leaders to sign the controversial LGBT agreement.  One such meeting between the EU and ACP Ministers took place in Brussels on November 28, 2022, to potentially exert greater pressure on ACP Ministers to persuade ACP heads of governments to sign the LGBT agreement.  Another meeting with the same objective took place from June 19 to 28, 2023, in Brussels.   Members of civil society groups i...

Actor Tony Umez and wife Ogo Patsy celebrate 24th wedding anniversary. Nollywood actor, Tony Umez and his wife Ogo Patsy Umez are marking their 24th wedding anniversary. The lovebirds wore matching orange tracksuit as they posed for photos and a video.  Tony shared the photos on Instagram alongside loving words describing what his wife means to him.  

I only slept with HIV-positive women while in secondary school – Kenyan pastor makes clarification. Controversial cleric Anthony Kahura Mwangi alias Pastor T who raised eyebrows when he claimed that he slept with HIV-positive women and still remained HIV-negative, has offered a clarification.  Pastor T had claimed earlier that his confession was misinterpreted. He also disclosed that the incident happened while he was in a secondary school. The cleric also said that his wife is not bothered by the conversation on social media in regard to his confession as she already knew about his past.  He said; “That was a story that happened while still in high school. Let no evil mother in-law control your home” – Jude Ighalo’s estranged wife writes as she advises women. Sonia Adesuwa, the estranged wife of footballer, Jude Ighalo, has said she chose to walk out of her marriage not because she was tired of fighting but because she chose her children over the marriage.  The mum of three stated this on her Instastories on Thursday morning November 16. She said that if not for prayers, she would have been “forgotten by now.”  She advised women not to allow any ‘’evil mother in-law” control their homes and that they should learn to stand up for themselves and their children. Sonia also disclosed that she got married at 19 and did everything within her power to ensure her marriage worked and that her husband succeeded in his career. She went on to state that asides his “sexcapades with female celebrities,” Jude is “innocent.” More photos below. 

Anambra belongs to APGA – Soludo replies APC on plot to take over state Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, has responded to claims by the All Progressives Congress (APC), that it will take the state from him in the next election. Since Senator Ifeanyi Ubah joined the APC, the party has been exuding confidence about winning the state in 2025 governorship election. The state chairman of the party, Mr Basil Ejidike had in a recent interview, stated that the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) would die a natural death when APC takes the state in 2025. But reacting to such claims, Soludo in a press release signed by his Press Secretary, Mr Christian Aburime, said no other party, not even APC which he claims does not exist in the state, would be able to displace APGA.
