Blaming opposition for hunger is ‘delusion’, Atiku tells Tinubu Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has accused President Bola Tinubu of blaming the opposition for the country’s economic hardship. He said the President was trying to evade responsibility for his administration’s policies. Tinubu had earlier on Saturday blamed his political opponents for hunger and poverty in the country while speaking at the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign flag-off in Kaduna. “I hear my opponent talking about hunger, poverty. Who created it? They did! They created the hunger, they created the poverty. We are trying to eradicate it,” the President said.                                                                                                  AN IBADAN CHIEF MAGISTRATE COURT SITTING AT IYAGANKU TODAY REMANDED YEKINI KAZEEM 18YRS AND IFEANYI EZEKIEL 18YRS FOR ALLEGEDLY RAPING 17YRS OLD GIRL.THEY WERE ARRAIGNED ON A TWO COUNT CHARGE OF CONSPIRACY AND RAPE .THE GIRL WAS ON AN ERRAND FOR HER GRAND MOTHER WHEN THE ACCUSED POUNCED ON HER.THE OFFENCE WAS COMMITTED ON OCT 14 AT ABOUT 8PM AT IJOKODO AGBSJE AREA OF IBADAN.THE OFFENCE CONTAVENED SEC 357 AND 516 AND IS PUNISHABLE UNDER SEC 358 OF THE CRIMINAL CODE.THE PLEAS OF THE ACCUSED WERE NOT TAKEN.THE CHIEF MAGISTRATE RISIKAT EBELOKU MUSTAPHA ORDERED THE ACCUSED TO BE REMANDED AT AGODI PRISON PENDING THE OUT COME OF LEGAL ADVICE FROM THE DIRECTORATE OF PUBLIC PROSECUTION.THE CASE WAS ADJOURNED TILL NOVEMBER 26 FOR MENTION.
