 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.                                                                                        A 25YR OLD LABORER MR MUSA HARUNA TODAY APPEARED BEFORE AN OSHODI MAGISTRATE COURT IN LAGOS,CHARGED WITH STEALING OF 20 PAIRS OF SHOES.THE ACCUSED ON OCTOBER 4TH AT ABOUT 2AM BURGLED SHOP F 12 AT ARENA SHOPING PLAZA,BOLADE OSHODI LAGOS BELONGING TO MRS JOY IKE.HE CAME WITH PROFESSIONAL TOOLS AND THE SECURITY GUARD ATTACHED TO THE PLAZA SAW THE ACCUSED GOING OUT OF THE PLAZA WITH A GHANA MUST GO FULL WITH SHOES ON HIS HEAD.WHEN QUESTIONED HE CLAIMED TO BE AN ORPHAN AND NEEDED MONEY TO FEED.THE ACCUSED,PLEADED NOT GUILTY TO THE CHARGE.THE MAGISTRATE MR AKEEM FASHOLA,GRANTED THE ACCUSED 100,000 NAIRA BAIL WITH ONE SURETY IN THE SUM AND ADJOURNED THE CASE TILL OCTOBER 31 FOR MENTION.
