 There was no evidence that he slept with the girl” – Yomi Fabiyi gives update on Baba Ijesha’s case Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has given an update on embattled Yoruba actor Baba Ijesha’s case. Refreshing your memory, Baba Ijesha was arrested and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for raping a minor, who is the adopted daughter of comedian Princess. Giving an update on the case in a recent interview, he said Baba Ijesha’s appeal process is still ongoing in court. He claimed that there was no evidence that he slept with the hole; hence, the judge didn’t sentence him to life imprisonment. Yomi stated that Princess called Baba Ijesha to shoot a skit, and the girl also made a similar statement in court.                                                                                        A 25YR OLD LABORER MR MUSA HARUNA TODAY APPEARED BEFORE AN OSHODI MAGISTRATE COURT IN LAGOS,CHARGED WITH STEALING OF 20 PAIRS OF SHOES.THE ACCUSED ON OCTOBER 4TH AT ABOUT 2AM BURGLED SHOP F 12 AT ARENA SHOPING PLAZA,BOLADE OSHODI LAGOS BELONGING TO MRS JOY IKE.HE CAME WITH PROFESSIONAL TOOLS AND THE SECURITY GUARD ATTACHED TO THE PLAZA SAW THE ACCUSED GOING OUT OF THE PLAZA WITH A GHANA MUST GO FULL WITH SHOES ON HIS HEAD.WHEN QUESTIONED HE CLAIMED TO BE AN ORPHAN AND NEEDED MONEY TO FEED.THE ACCUSED,PLEADED NOT GUILTY TO THE CHARGE.THE MAGISTRATE MR AKEEM FASHOLA,GRANTED THE ACCUSED 100,000 NAIRA BAIL WITH ONE SURETY IN THE SUM AND ADJOURNED THE CASE TILL OCTOBER 31 FOR MENTION.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
