Jay z has decided to go forward with his planned collaboration with an expensive new york department store in spite of the recent spate of racial profiling episodes that occurred in barney's.jay z said he 'd agreed to move forward with next week's launch of his BNY SCC collection under the condition that he helps lead the store's review of it's policies.he further said the easy position would have been to walk away and leave policy making to others hoping that someone addresses the problem ,i will not leave the out come to others.he also said that one of the stipulations for his continued support of the store was that his been given a leadership role and seat on a council specifically convened to deal with the issue of racial profiling.i am in a unique posisition to use my voice to affect change to this disturbing issue.i will take this into my own hands with full power to recommend,review and revise policies and guide lines moving forward.i am choosing to take this ahead on.
