 ANSIEC Ready for Saturday’s Anambra Local Government Elections- -Chinedu By  Ruth Orji  Anambra State  Independent Electoral Commission (ANSIEC)  has declared its readiness to conduct Saturday’s local government elections across the State, with accreditation and voting scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. This was disclosed in a press briefing in Awka on Wednesday,  ANSIEC  Commissioner for Information and Publicity, Chief Tony Chinedu, said preparations for the August 29 election began in February, following the publication of the election notice in September 2025. The poll will be held across the state’s 21 local government areas, 326 wards, and approximately 5,200 polling units.   Chinedu disclosed that the commission had procured over 90 per cent of the required electoral materials and completed the training of ad hoc personnel.  He added that both sensitive and non-sensitive materials had been packaged for deployment, with the evacuation of non...

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
