 LASG REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO END TUBERCULOSIS IN COMMUNITIES IN LAGOS STATE The Lagos State Government on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to completely eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) at the grassroots level across the metropolis.  The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke made this known during a courtesy visit by the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria team to her Ikoyi office, emphasising the present administration's commitment to continually prioritise health security across the state. She said the Lagos State First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu, is a Tuberculosis (TB) champion with the mandate of ending TB now and the continuous expansion of TB scale-up diagnostic centres.  According to her, “The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu is a TB champion. chanelMetiers d'Art fashion              He came under fire for showing Native American inspired headdresses as part of it's latest collection presented in Dallas on Tuesday.Activitst Sasha Houston Brown was dismayed to see models were dressed in feathered head pieces,walking down the runway at the Metiers D'Art show.she said ''regardless of a brand's status,cultural appropriation and mis representation continues to be an on going issue in the fashion industry she said ''Chanel should have learned from previous Native inspired fashion offences by urban outfiters like Victoria Secret and H&M which should have provided the label with clear cut lessons before staging its show.miss Brown,a 26 year old member of the Santee Sioux Nation,and serves as the director of education for little Earth Uinted Ttribes,says that the runway show's portrayal of Native American fashion represents a gross under assessment of traditional Native american dress as a whole.we have over 566 federally recognized tribes in the US and very few of those outside of the plains really wear anything resembling a headdress .she say's that head dresses are very tribal specific and that their mass association with Native American culture represents stereotyped.miss Brown resides in Minneapolis has labelled channel's headdress designs an offensive mockery.In chanel's defence,i see nothing offensive if someone make use of my Nigerian tradition for his brand,i will be happy and proud,we should sometimes,see the bright side of it,the world now remmeber's that you guy's are the real Native Americans and this is your traditional attire or hair piece.what make's 75% of the world to speak english is because the English people put their language out their to be learnt by all and english language  is not an easy language to learn.so DEAR miss Brown,drink water and cool your temper,he is only honoring your race that's all.                                    chanelKarl Lagerfeld
