In a blog post that has now been published by many international media organisations, in an apparent well-coordinated public relations effort, Binance Chief Executive Officer Richard Teng made false allegations of bribery against unidentified Nigerian government officials who he claimed demanded $150m in cryptocurrency payments to resolve the ongoing criminal investigation against the company. The police in River State for the second day,barred the law makers of the Rivers State House of Assembly from entering the Assembly complex in Port H arcourt.A police officer told the law makers outside the Assembly complex that there are two factions in the House and that it will not allow any of the two groups to gain entrance untill it gets a directive from the inspector General of police,Mohammed Abubakar.when plastic chairs were brought for the lawmakers to sit outside the Assembly complex,the police refused to allow the law makers sit on the chairs.this infuriated the lawmakers who then proceeded to sit on the floor of the road ''moscow road'',leading into the Assembly.while sitting on the road,the Legislators sang solidarity and praise and worship songs to God.
