 ANAMBRA POLICE ACTION ON THE CULT CLASH THAT RESULTED IN THE FATAL INJURY OF FOUR PERSONS AT AFOR NAWFIA MARKET The Anambra State Police Command wishes to provide a comprehensive update on the cult-related attack that occurred on the evening of 7th December 2025 at Afor Nawfia Market, along the Onitsha–Awka Old Road. It will be recalled that operatives of the Command attached to the Special Anti-Cult Squad, Enugwu-Ukwu, had, four days earlier, acting on credible intelligence about a planned rival cult confrontation, arrested two dangerous suspects and recovered a firearm from them. The arrested suspects have been assisting the Police with valuable information aimed at preventing further cult-related violence within Awka and its environs. ELIAS PREKO GOES TO JAIL BECAUSE OF IBORI'S LOOT.

Elias Preko: laundered $5million for James Ibori       Elias Preko 54 years old,an ex banker and from Ghana was sentenced to four and the half years in prison by a London court on Monday for laundering $5MILLION on behalf of James Ibori,the former Governor of Delta state.Ibori is serving 13 years  in a British jail after pleading guilty last year to 10 counts of fraud and money laundering.Elias Preko,became the fifth of Iboris's associates to be jailed for assisting his corruption after the Ex-Governor's wife,mistress,sister and lawyer were all convicted by British courts in previous trials.Elias Preko a Harvard graduate,had left Golman Sacks bank before he committed the offences and the bank is not accused of any wrong doing.the court heard Preko tried to open accounts on Ibori's.behalf when he still worked there but this was not authorized by the bank.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
