 Over 25 million phones stolen in one year – FG The Crime Experience and Security Perception Survey report of the National Bureau of Statistics, a Federal Government agency, shows that Nigeria recorded 25.35 million phone theft cases between May 2023 and April 2024. According to the report, this was the most common type of crime within the period under review. The report read, “The number of crimes experienced by individuals in Nigeria was analysed over a period of time. The results show that theft of phones (25,354,417) was the most common crime experienced by individuals, followed by consumer fraud (12,107,210) and assault (8,453,258). However, hijacking of cars (333,349) was the least crime experienced by individuals within the reference period.” It also noted that most phone theft cases occurred either at home or in a public place, and about 90 per cent of such cases were reported to the police. KANYE WEST SUED OVER BOUND 2 MUSIC,BECAUSE HE STOLE IT.

Song dispute: Kanye West, shown in November in New York City, has been sued along with his record labels for allegedly sampling a song without permission for the tune Bound 2           Kanye West was named as a defendant in a law suit filed on monday claming samples were stolen for his song Bound 2 best known for its raunchy video staring his fiancee Kim Kardashian.Kanye was sued by former child soul  singer Rick Spicer who claimed Bound 2 on West's Yeezus album stole as sample from his 1970's song titled Bound.Spicer formerly belonged to the soul group Ponderosa Twins plus one and recorded Bound in 1970 when he was the gropu's 12 year old lead singer.Mr spicer's voice is sampled exactly as he recorded it and his voice is heard several times.Spicer now 56 years old,said he was stunned when he heard himself on Bond 2,which was the second single from West'sYeezus album that debuted at the top of the Bill board 200 chat in June.He said he never granted West or anyone associated with him permission to use his voice.Spicer in his law suit demanded that West should stop using the song and pay an unspecified amount in damages.The title of Kanye's song suggests that his version is a sequel to the original.Spicer was living in the Ohio Boys Toen Orphanage when he was discovered at a talent show and recruited to join the Ponderosa Twins that were then made up of two sets of twins.See the suit filed below.           Racy video: Kanye and his bride-to-be Kim Kardashian starred in the widely panned and sexually gratuitous video for Bound 2
