 Legendary country music icon Dolly Parton passed away on August 25, 2026, at the age of 80 in Nashville Her family shared the news in a video posted on social media by her nephew, Bryan Seaver.She passed away peacefully at her home. Her team and family released statements celebrating her long life and kind heart.Her career in music lasted for more than six decades.She wrote famous songs like "Jolene" and "9 to 5". She sold more than 100 million records around the world.She gave a lot of money and time to charity.Her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, died earlier in March 2025.
