Refreshing your memory, Baba Ijesha was arrested and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for raping a minor, who is the adopted daughter of comedian Princess. Giving an update on the case in a recent interview, he said Baba Ijesha’s appeal process is still ongoing in court. He claimed that there was no evidence that he slept with the hole; hence, the judge didn’t sentence him to life imprisonment. Yomi stated that Princess called Baba Ijesha to shoot a skit, and the girl also made a similar statement in court. File photo: another man accused of Raping his two daughters         The Nigerian police in Lagos state said it has arrested a 36 year old man who allegedly raped and impregnated his 14 year old daughter.The police public Relations officer in the state,DSP Ngozi Braide,made this known when she addressed the media in Ikeja on Friday.She said the girl had been pregnant for the past two months and that the man claimed to be bewitched.She added that the mother of the girl divorced her father seven years ago.The matter was reported at Meiran police station of the area M police command.The victim told newsmen that her father brought a native doctor who convinced her that sex was part of the treatment to cure her undisclosed sickeness before she was raped.She said '' my father gives me native soap and sponge probably for ritual bath always.He once entered the bathroom with me and had sex with me forcefully.He took me to bed forcefully several times in his room and when i refused,he threatened to kill me with a knife,since then,he had been making love to me under the guise that i will be cured''.This story is very touching.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
