  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous. File photo: another man accused of Raping his two daughters         The Nigerian police in Lagos state said it has arrested a 36 year old man who allegedly raped and impregnated his 14 year old daughter.The police public Relations officer in the state,DSP Ngozi Braide,made this known when she addressed the media in Ikeja on Friday.She said the girl had been pregnant for the past two months and that the man claimed to be bewitched.She added that the mother of the girl divorced her father seven years ago.The matter was reported at Meiran police station of the area M police command.The victim told newsmen that her father brought a native doctor who convinced her that sex was part of the treatment to cure her undisclosed sickeness before she was raped.She said '' my father gives me native soap and sponge probably for ritual bath always.He once entered the bathroom with me and had sex with me forcefully.He took me to bed forcefully several times in his room and when i refused,he threatened to kill me with a knife,since then,he had been making love to me under the guise that i will be cured''.This story is very touching.
