 IGP DECLARES OPEN 2025 NIGERIA POLICE PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICERS’ CONFERENCE …Tasks PPROs on strategic communication, combating misinformation The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, on Monday, December 8, 2025, declared open the 2025 Annual Conference of Police Public Relations Officers (PPROs) of the Nigeria Police Force, held at the Police Resource Centre, Abuja. In his keynote address, the IGP described the annual conference as “a strategic national engagement and a critical platform for strengthening police-public communication, shaping national narratives constructively, and deepening trust between the Police and citizens.” He emphasised that modern-day policing is increasingly defined by public trust, transparency, and the quality of communication between law enforcement agencies and the public, noting that the Public Relations Officers remain central to institutional credibility. Elsa Schiaparelli's personal collection is being auctioned                                                                Madame Elsa Schiaparelli,the legendary Italian fashion designer and a deadly rival of Coco Chanel,was at the heart of avant-garde ideas in 1930's Paris.Known for her friendship and collaborations with artistic icons including Salvador Dali,Man Ray,Christian Berard,Jean Cocteau Alberto,Diego Giacornett and Marce Vertes,Schiaparelli was a key trendsetter within the contemporary scene and now Christie's Parisian auction house is hosting a sale of some 180 items from her personal collection January 2014,a landmark sale for the international world of fashion,style and design,and one expected to fetch in the region of 710,000 pounds.The collections comes to the market in the new year having passed by descent to Elsa Schiaparelli's grand daughter,the actress Marisa Schiaparelli Berenson.More pictures below.                                                 The sale includes two elegant 20th century Hammamet robes which directly influenced her designs, £900 - 1,800A violet silk blouse, 1939, from Schiaparelli's Astrologie Collection, £23,000-27,000An unusual yellow linen blouse, with beadwork and black and white floral trim, from 1940, points to Elsa Schiaparelli's interest in porcelain, £9,000-13,000A further highlight is an intricately beaded waistcoat with 'Bucking Bronco' beadwork, inspired by Elsa Schiaparelli¿s influential 1940's trip to Texas, £9,000-11,000The collection includes portraits of the designer and her familyOne of the lots from Elsa Schiaparelli's personal collectionThe sale features a bolero jacket in ice blue crêpe, estimate: £14,000-18,000A pink wool bolero, with jet bead trim, also from 1940, estimate: £11,000-14,000Elsa SchiaparelliA chic, lilac-upholstered 'love-seat' is estimated to go for £540-710

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
