 MODEL COLLEGES/UPGRADED JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS COMMENCE E-REGISTRATION FOR YEAR 2025 ENTRANCE EXAMINATION The Lagos State Government has commenced Year 2025 e-Registraton Entrance Examination (Screening Test) for primary 6 pupils transiting to junior secondary schools into its Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools.  The Director, Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Adebayo Orunsolu confirmed that the e-Registration will commence on Thursday 6th February and ends on Friday, 16th May, 2025, adding that the Screening will be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT) only between Wednesday, 28th May and Friday, 30th May, 2025, at the various CBT designated centres across the State. Mr. Orunsolu stressed that qualified pupils from public and private Schools are to pay a sum of #10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira Only) for the Application. Couple: Prince Harry and his girlfriend Cressida Bonas will celebrate New Year's Eve together after spending Christmas apart while he was at Sandringham with his family          Prince Harry will leave the royal family's festivities so he can be with his girlfriend Cressida Bonas in 2014.The couple spent christmas day apart while the Prince celebrated christmas with the Queen at Sandringham.Cressida was staying with her father Jeffrey and stepmother Penelope just a few miles away from the royal estate in Norfolk.Sources said the pair who have been dating for around 19 months will be re-united in time for the New year.In the run up to christmas,the Prince and his girlfriend spent the weekend together at Sir Richard Branson's mansion in Kidlington,Oxforfshire.                                                                Christmas celebrations: Princes Harry and William attend a Christmas Day church service at Sandringham

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. The Appellant is an actor. He acted in a script that he was invited to act by his colleague (PW1), Damilola Adekoya,” he said.
