STATEHOUSE PRESS STATEMENT PRESIDENT TINUBU'S MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE TO CHIMAMANDA ADICHIE AND HER FAMILY With a deep sense of grief, I condole with Ms Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, her husband, Dr Ivara Esege, and the entire family on the passing of their son, Nkanu Nnamdi. As a parent myself who has suffered the loss of a loved one, no grief is as devastating as losing a child. I empathise with the family at this difficult time, and I mourn this sad loss with them. Ms Adichie is a literary icon who has brought joy and light to many homes globally, and I pray she and her family find strength in the Almighty in this trying hour. My prayers are with the family. It was in the 1963 and Nigeria's first and only prime minister,Sir Abubaka Balewa took his annual leave and was off to his village to spend it.Then a British photo journalist came along but they told him that the prime minister had gone on vacation. The photo journalist then asked to which country but he was shocked when they told him the prime minister went to spend the vacation in his own village. To satisfy his curiosity,he decided to travel to the village, but on getting to the village, there was no sign that a big man was in town.He met with a farmer along the way with his donkey carrying bales of sugar cane, and he asked from the farmer the house of the prime minister, the farmer told him that he had just left the his house and that if he gets to his house, which he described,he would meet him sitting on the bare floor with his kids enjoying the sugar cane that he gave them. Please compare these story,to todays government. Can you dash a Nigerian government sugarcane or even stroll in side Aso Rock?.................
