 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. YINUA GANIYU,KILLED ALHAJI MUDA OYEBANJI,THROUGH RECKLESS DRIVING.

                                                                               Lagos state Director of Public Prosecution {DPP}has established a case of reckless and dangerous driving causing death against Yinusa Ganiyu a driver.today wenesday,at Surulere magistrate court showed that a prima facie case was established against him.the accused hit a bus from behind ,causing two passengers,including the driver of the bus and the deceased to sustained injuries.the injury sustained by one Alhaji muda Oyebanji 68,led to his death.the accused was not focused in his driving and that he lost control of the vehicle,causing the accident.the advice from the DPP stated that the accused should be prosecuted for reckless and dangerous driving and for causing death.the accused was arraigned on OCT 19,and his facing two count charge before the court.the offence committed contravened section 19 and 20 of the Road Traffic Act of Lagos state.Ganiyu pleaded not guilty to the charge and was granted bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties.the case was Adjourned to December 17 for mention.
