Judge rejects Amy Winehouse's father’s lawsuit over sale of singer’s personal items A London judge has ruled against Mitch Winehouse in a legal dispute over the sale of personal belongings once owned by his late daughter, singer Amy Winehouse. Mitch Winehouse, who serves as the administrator of the singer’s estate, brought the case against Naomi Parry and Catriona Gourlay, alleging they improperly profited from the sale of her memorabilia. He claimed the pair had no right to sell the items and did so without his knowledge, arguing they should not have benefited from the auctions. Amy Winehouse died in 2011 at the age of 27 from alcohol poisoning at her home in London, bringing an end to a career that made her one of the most recognizable voices of her generation. Two children were burnt to death last night when a candle light razed their parents home at 12,Adebari street,Agege,Lagos state,south west Nigeria,just as Adebambo a graduate took his on life in Ikorodu on New Year day because he claimed he was not allowed to marry his girlfriend.The deceased kids were identified as Nosirat 7,a primary one pupil of starland private school,Agege,while Basit 5,was in nusrsery one of the same school.The mother of the children said ''i am a trader selling kerosine and bread outside and after i had closed for the day i kept a 25 litre of Kerosine inside while i lit a candle and place it on the freezer,since there was no electricity supply.My children and their father were sleeping and i then went to buy mosquito coil but before i returned the house was on fire.I saw my husband outside without the children and by then there was no way for me to go inside to rescue them''.One of the landlord's children Ganiyu Ayoola 38 years,a driver,who witnessed the incident said '' i managed to run out with my wife and two children with only pant.The burnt house is owned by Alhaji Isiaka Ayoola 72,who resides at 5,Agura road,Enu-Gada,Abeokuta,Ogun state.
