 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. CARMEN ZAPATA,SISTERS ACT STAR,DIES AT 86YEARS.

A class act: Carmen played a Choir Nun in the 1992 movie Sister Act and the 1993 sequel Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit         She appeared alongside Whoopi Goldberg in both Sisters Act and Sisters Act 2.She passed away at her home in Van Nuys on Sunday.Her organization-Bilingual foundation of the Arts also revealed that Carmen had been dealing with an illness and a heart condition for sometime.She had acted in Death in Granada with Andy Grarcia,The Bold Ones,Married With Children,Falcon Crest,LA Law and Dr Quinn,and Medicine Woman etc.She was a New Yorker native,with a Mexican father and Argentine mother.She received a star on the Hollywood walk of fame in 2003,and was Knighted by King Juan Carlos of Spain in 1990.Carmen made her Broadway debut in 1946.She also performed in musicals such as guys,Dolls and Carnivals.She was a leading force in show casing Latino culture in Los Angeless.More pictures below.                                 Heyday: Actress Carmen Zapata - seen here in Hands of Love in 1971 - died at the age of 86 on Sunday at her home in Van NuysLegend: Carmen receives her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles in October 2003
