  President Bola Tinubu has identified the creative economy as a pivotal element of his administration’s economic diversification agenda, reaffirming his commitment to positioning Nigeria’s creative sector as a driving force for global influence. The President stated this at the launch of the 2024 Abuja International Carnival at Eagle Square, Abuja. President Tinubu, represented by Vice-President Kashim Shettima, said the carnival reaffirms the essence of who Nigerians are—”a people of culture, a people of art, a people of colour, and a people of shared values”. DENNIS RODMAN,ENTERS REHAB AFTER DRUNK TV APPEARANCE IN NORTH KOREA.

Rant: Dennis Rodman has entered rehab following his controversial CNN interview during his North Korea visit          During celebrity Apprentice,i knew he drank alot of cram berry juice mixed with alcohol,but this time i think he has gone too far with his drunkness when he caused outrage after claiming ''an American citizen deserves a sentence to hard labour'',he said it on his visit to North Korea.He is now staying at a treatment centre in New Jersy to try and curb his long standing alcohol addiction.He will receive care for 30 days.He claimed alcohol was one of the reasons for his bizarre out burst about his fellow American citizen.One more picture below.                                                                                                                                                 Little and large: Dennis has become a close friend of North Korea's infamous head of state Kim Jong-un

  SSANU, NASU threaten strike over withheld salaries The Joint Action Committee of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions have threatened to disrupt industrial peace in universities should the government fail to release the withheld salaries of members. The salaries were seized by the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari during their strike in 2022. The unions, in a joint letter signed on Friday by the President of SSANU, Muhammed Ibrahim and General Secretary of NASU, Peters Adeyemi, questioned the rationale with which the government released four months withheld salaries to members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities but failed to release the withheld salaries of non-academic staff.
