 Over 25 million phones stolen in one year – FG The Crime Experience and Security Perception Survey report of the National Bureau of Statistics, a Federal Government agency, shows that Nigeria recorded 25.35 million phone theft cases between May 2023 and April 2024. According to the report, this was the most common type of crime within the period under review. The report read, “The number of crimes experienced by individuals in Nigeria was analysed over a period of time. The results show that theft of phones (25,354,417) was the most common crime experienced by individuals, followed by consumer fraud (12,107,210) and assault (8,453,258). However, hijacking of cars (333,349) was the least crime experienced by individuals within the reference period.” It also noted that most phone theft cases occurred either at home or in a public place, and about 90 per cent of such cases were reported to the police. DOG BITE'S OFF BANK WORKER PENIS IN IKOTUN

      These story is not unreal,it actually happened at Idowu Anisere street,off Governor's road in Ikotun,Lagos state.The dog have been arrested and charged to court.The police also charged the owner of the dog,31 year old Adebowale Gabriel at a magistrate court in Ejigbo Lagos.The arrest of the dog and it's owner followed a complaint by the victim,Mr Simon Anwam,to the police in Ikotun division that when he was walking on the street,the dog pounced on him and inflicted deep injury on his penis and all these happened infrount of it's owner,because the owner of the dog was holding the dog before it pounced on him.After the incident,he could not urinate easily.When he attempted to urinate,blood flowed from his penis and he had to urinate with the aid of a pipe.Later on,the complainant had written a letter of withdrawal and a settlement out of court because Mr Gabriel,the owner of the dog,had pleaded with the complainant,before the matter was charged to court.He has promised to take care of his hospital bills.
