 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. To ease parking challenges, designated car parks have been arranged for public use, these include; the Yoruba Lawn Tennis Club Car Park, Zone 2 Car Park (opposite Island Club along King George V Road), Museum Kit...

Not happy: Kim and Khloe Kardashian called their one-time stepmother and Robert Kardashian's widow, Ellen Pearson Kardashian, a 'slippery snake' during deposition over late father's diaries             Kim Kardashian was accused by her step mother Ellen Kardashian,that Kim is insulting her on TV,and she believed it was all planned.Sources are claiming that Khloe and Kim called their step mother ''a slippery snake'',during proceedings,over their late fathers diaries.They claimed they never approve of the marriage in the first place.Kim was asked if it was fair to say she disliked Ellen,she replied ''yeah,i dislike her,i don't agree with her decisions as of late,and i didn't agree with her decisions when she wouldn't give us back property ever since she married my father.I feel like there was an agenda there''.Kim also said that her opinion of Ellen started more recently after she sold the diaries.I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt when they got married thinking,like,okay she is trying to push us out.I thought she was grieving and have a hard time,but her actions proved otherwise''.The Kardashian family are suing Ellen for $500,000 in damages,claiming she sold their belongings to a number of magazine publishers following Robertd death.One more picture below.                                                Bitter battle: Ellen Kardashian married Robert two months before he died of cancer in 2003

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
