 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. Putting the record straight: The singer denied reports that her ARTPOP album had left a $25million deficit for her record company           Last month,Lady Gaga told fans that she and R.Kelly were preparing a music video for their collaboration,but her fans still don't know when the Terry Richardson directed clip will arrive.On her website ,she express her dismay over being let down by some of those  close to her.Lady Gaga blamed issuses behind the scenes for the set back and explained that she was terribly upset by the whole thing.She sais ''it is late because,just like the Applause Video unfortunately,i was given a week to plan and execute it.It is ver devastating for someone like me,i devote every moment of my life to creating fantasies for you.All my most successful videos were planned over a period of time when i wasrested and my creativity was honourned.Those who have betrayed me gravely mis-managed my time and health and left me on my own to damage control any problems that ensued as a result millions of dollars are not enough for some people.They want billions.Then they need trillions.I was not enough for some people.They wanted more.I am very grateful to the photographers and designers who have always stood by me to make sure my fans are never aware of the things that happens behind the scenes,but unfortunately after my surgery,i was too sick,too tired,and too sad to control the damage on my own.My label was not aware this was good on''.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
