 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. LUCAS ANYA A MOTORCYCLIST,CRUSHED BY A DANFO TO DEATH.

•Lucas Anya                                              The picture above is Lucas Anya,a motorcyclist from Nassarawa state,was crushed yesterday thursday to death,including a passenger to death at Alagbole,a border town between Ogun and Lagos state,by 9.30pm and they were coming from berger bus stop in Lagos.Another passenger who sustained injuries was taken to Mainland General Hospital,on Lagos Island.The driver of the bus is said to be on the run and the police are on his trail.One of the riders,who accompanied the police to a private mortuary in Ajuwon,Life Channel funeral home,where the two corpses were deposited,identified the deceased rider as Lucas Anya from Nassarawa state.Usman Ali,who claimed to be a relative of the deceased rider say's the deceased was recently involved in an accident which he is just recovering from before his unfortunate death.
