In a blog post that has now been published by many international media organisations, in an apparent well-coordinated public relations effort, Binance Chief Executive Officer Richard Teng made false allegations of bribery against unidentified Nigerian government officials who he claimed demanded $150m in cryptocurrency payments to resolve the ongoing criminal investigation against the company.  This claim by Binance CEO lacks any iota of substance. It is nothing but a diversionary tactic and an attempted act of blackmail by a company desperate to obfuscate the grievous criminal charges it is facing in Nigeria. Nsofor Ngozi Anderlin: arrested with heroin                                                    NDLEA,National  Drug Law Enforcement Agency said on Thursday it has intercepted a woman and a bag with 195 grammes of heroin hidden inside it at the Lagos Airport.It was discovered during search at the Lagos international airport,of her luggage to Mororvia ,Liberia on an Arik flight .34 year old house wife,Nsofor Ngozi Anderlin for attempting to export the drug to her husband in Liberia.Nsofor Ngozi a mother of five claims that the bag was sent to her by her husband.She said ''my husband called me from Liberia where he lives that somebody will give me a bag.He told me to buy female artificial hair in the bag and send it to him.I bought the hair attachment as instructed by my husband.This is not my first time of sending goods to my husband.Unfortunately,officers at the Airport found heroin,,inside the bag during search .The suspect hails from Imo state and she also says ''i really feel bad that the bag where the drug was found,was sent to me by my husband,I am here writing statement when i ought to be preparing for my New Year celebration at home''.The Artificial Hair was used as a distraction knowing that heroin was industrially concealed in a false bottom of the bag.                                                                                                            the bag containing 195 grammes of heroin   how the drug was hidden at the bottom of the bag

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
