 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026. PRIVATE JET CRASHES,INFOUNT OF LEANN RIMES IN ASPEN.

At least one person is dead and two others seriously injured after a plane crashed on landing at the Aspen-Pitkin County Airport in Aspen, Colorado, on Sunday         A private jet has crashed and exploded in flames at the airport for Luxury ski resort town Aspen as horrified passengers looked on,killing at least one person on board.Three people were on the aircraft,including the pilot,when it crashed on the runway about 12.30pm local time,before over turning and bursting into flames.One was killed,one has major injuries and the other has moderate injuries.None of the three have been identified.The plane is said to have attempted a few approaches before crashing in a ball of fire.Emergency crews rushed to extinguish the flames and are currently investigating the cause of the crash.Singer Leann Rimes was among those who saw the explosion.More pictures below.                              Emergency crews work near a passenger plane that crashed upon landing at the Aspen-Pitkin County Airport in Aspen, Colorado, on Sunday, killing one person and injuring two after exploding on impactThe wreckage of a private jet lies on the runway after it crashed and burned at Aspen/Pitkin County Airport in Colorado January 5, 2014.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
