 M23 says hundreds of Burundi soldiers captured in latest Congo offensive The Rwanda-backed M23 group has captured hundreds of Burundian soldiers during its latest offensive in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, a rebel official said, as clashes continued despite a warning from the Trump administration. Last week M23 entered the strategic town of Uvira near the border with Burundi, less than a week after the presidents of Congo and Rwanda met in Washington with U.S. President Donald Trump and affirmed their commitment to a peace deal known as the Washington Accords. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Saturday that Rwanda's actions in eastern Congo violated the Washington Accords and vowed to "take action to ensure promises made to the President are kept". Rwanda denies supporting M23 and has blamed Congolese and Burundian forces for the renewed fighting. PRIVATE JET CRASHES,INFOUNT OF LEANN RIMES IN ASPEN.

At least one person is dead and two others seriously injured after a plane crashed on landing at the Aspen-Pitkin County Airport in Aspen, Colorado, on Sunday         A private jet has crashed and exploded in flames at the airport for Luxury ski resort town Aspen as horrified passengers looked on,killing at least one person on board.Three people were on the aircraft,including the pilot,when it crashed on the runway about 12.30pm local time,before over turning and bursting into flames.One was killed,one has major injuries and the other has moderate injuries.None of the three have been identified.The plane is said to have attempted a few approaches before crashing in a ball of fire.Emergency crews rushed to extinguish the flames and are currently investigating the cause of the crash.Singer Leann Rimes was among those who saw the explosion.More pictures below.                              Emergency crews work near a passenger plane that crashed upon landing at the Aspen-Pitkin County Airport in Aspen, Colorado, on Sunday, killing one person and injuring two after exploding on impactThe wreckage of a private jet lies on the runway after it crashed and burned at Aspen/Pitkin County Airport in Colorado January 5, 2014.
