A 45-YEAR-OLD DOMESTIC WORKER, IDENTIFIED AS MBANGO ÉMILIENNE MBENGA, WAS REPORTEDLY ATTACKED TO DEATH BY FIVE DOGS AT HER EMPLOYER’S RESIDENCE. (PHOTO).
A 45-year-old domestic worker, identified as Mbango Émilienne Mbenga, was reportedly attacked to death by five dogs at her employer’s residence. Reports has it that the v!ct!m had just entered the residence when the dogs a++ack£d her, she was overpowered by the animals and died from the injuries sustained in the attack. The dogs were immediately k!ll£d. The victim, who was a mother and have been working as a domestic worker at the residence of Professor Stéphane Ngwanza, Vice-Rector of the University of Yaoundé I. This incident happened in Edéa, Sanaga-Maritime Division, Littoral Region, on Saturday, September 12, 2026.
Mansur Tanko,a 27 year old man.on friday burnt himself to death in Jalingo,capital of Taraba state,after a disagreement with his father,Tanko Mijinyawa,over marriage.Tanko set himself on fire because his family refused to approve his weddin g with a girl,Blessing a christian.Tanko introduced Blessing to his father as his proposed wife,but the father kicked against the union,describing it as a bad choice.His father tried to convince him to look for another girl but he refused,as he insisted that he could not survive without blessing.Tanko suddenly left his father and went to a corner in the compound,where he poured petrol on his body and set himself ablaze.People saw fire and ran towards the corner of the compound and found him burning.The father and other people tried to rescue Tanko from the fire but failed as the flame was much and they could not move near.Tankos father is currently receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Centre,Jalingo,for injuries sustained while trying to rescue his son.
