 M23 says hundreds of Burundi soldiers captured in latest Congo offensive The Rwanda-backed M23 group has captured hundreds of Burundian soldiers during its latest offensive in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, a rebel official said, as clashes continued despite a warning from the Trump administration. Last week M23 entered the strategic town of Uvira near the border with Burundi, less than a week after the presidents of Congo and Rwanda met in Washington with U.S. President Donald Trump and affirmed their commitment to a peace deal known as the Washington Accords. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Saturday that Rwanda's actions in eastern Congo violated the Washington Accords and vowed to "take action to ensure promises made to the President are kept". Rwanda denies supporting M23 and has blamed Congolese and Burundian forces for the renewed fighting. VLADIMIR KOMAROV,A MAN WHO FELL FROM SPACE.

          The picture above is the remain's of Vladimir Komarov,16 march 1927-24 April 1967,was a soviet test pilot,aerospace engineer and cosmonaut in the first group of cosmonauts selected in 1960.He was one of the most highly experienced and well qualified candidates accepted into Airforce Group one''.Komarov was declared medically unfit for training or space flight twice while he was in the program,but his perseverance and superior skills and his knowledge as an engineer allowed him to continue playing an active role.He contributed to space vehicle design,cosmonaut training and evaluation and public relation.He was eventually selected to command the first soviet multiman voskhood 1 space flight that presented a number of technical innovations in the space race.Komarov was later chosen for the rigorous task of commanding soyuz 1 as part of the soviet union's bid to reach the moon first.His space flight on soyuzi made him the first cosmonaut to fly into outer space more than once,and he became the first human to be killed during a space flight.He was killed when the soyuz 1 space capsule crashed after re-entry on April 24,1967,due to a parachute failure.More pictures below.
