 LAWMA SEALS PREMISES ON AGO PALACE WAY, ARRESTS 11 DUMPERS ON LAGOS ISLAND … Intensifies Enforcement Against Illegal Waste Disposal In renewed enforcement efforts, the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) has sealed premises identified for persistent illegal waste dumping along Ago Palace Way and arrested 11 persons for illegal waste disposal in various parts of Lagos Island. The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of LAWMA, Dr. Muyiwa Gbadegesin, said that the enforcement operations underscored the Authority’s resolve to enforce existing waste management regulations and ensure compliance with approved waste disposal practices across Lagos. He explained that the Ago Palace Way operation covered plazas, hotels, lounges and warehouses along the corridor, as part of efforts to tackle activities contributing to waste build-up and environmental nuisance on road setbacks, medians and other unauthorised public spaces. ANCIENT AFRICAN YORUBA STONE HEAD FOUND IN CENTRAL AMERICA?

                                  This stone carving was said to have come from central America but it is African in origin or African culture that migrated to central America a thousand years ago.The head artifact belongs to an Ife king in west Africa Yoruba Nigeria.It has a flat top head,line on the face abd the front head and are found on many artifact of the Yoruba people dating 1000AD to 1600AD.The large bulging eyes matched that of earlier culture of the Nok culture of Nigeria.The Nok culture appeared in Nigeria around 1000BC and vanished under unknown circumstances around 300 AD in the West Africa.My question is this,how did it turn end up in central America?.
