 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. To ease parking challenges, designated car parks have been arranged for public use, these include; the Yoruba Lawn Tennis Club Car Park, Zone 2 Car Park (opposite Island Club along King George V Road), Museum Kit...

'My life has been made': The City University pupil shared a clip of the video on Instagram, after Beyonce kissed her on the hand before returning to the stage         A fan named Shehnaz Kahn a student was sang to by Beyonce.Beyonce sang happy birthday to her fan who turned 22  yesterday tuesday at her Mrs Carter world tour at Birmingham's LG Arena.She stopped mid concert just to surprise the fan.Beyonce held her hands and Shehnaz Kahn was in shocked.She was the one holding the camera not knowing that Beyonce is coming close to her.She noticed the fan through a sign that was put up and Beyonce asked for her name and how it is spelt.Beyonce then proceeded to sing directly to her,before adding that she hoped she had said her name correctly,and Beyonce kissed her hands.The birthday fan say's ''i was wearing a birthday badge which she noticed early on in the show,she kind of acknowledgement .I can't believe she stopped the show for me.I was leaning over the barrier holding her hand and not realising the camera was recording,every one around me was going crazy''.                                 Time for a break in the proceedings: Beyonce was performing on stage as part of her Mrs Carter World Tour when she looked down and told the excited fan: 'You got the sign and everything, what's your name?Keeping close: Holding her hand in hers, the Halo star stopped mid-gig at Birmingham's LG Arena after noticing the student's birthday badgeUnforgettable: Shehnaz Kahn got a birthday message that she will never forget from singing superstar Beyonce, who stopped her concert to sing to her on TuesdayQueen Bey!  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
