NAF INTENSIFIES AIRPOWER CAMPAIGN, STRENGTHENS AIR PRESENCE IN SOKOTO TO DENY TERRORISTS FREEDOM OF ACTION The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has intensified its airpower campaign against terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and other criminal activities across the North-West, with a strengthened air presence in Sokoto State to support ongoing joint security operations. The initiative reflects the Service’s determination to sustain pressure on hostile elements, enhance aerial surveillance and maintain the capacity for rapid response to emerging threats, while providing effective air support to ground forces operating within the Joint Operations Area. The strengthened air presence is particularly significant in the fight against asymmetric threats, where terrorists and bandits exploit difficult terrain, mobility and concealment to evade ground forces. People have forgotten that he is also contesting for a second term in office in which it is his constitutional right .President Jonathan was on a visit to the eastern part of Nigeria on a political rally and he also met with Obi of Onitsha including other Igbo Monarchs.To me i see nothing wrong for him to be in power for the second term after all Nigeria is owned by all and since we claimed to be one,we should try to endure and support and tribe that is in Nigeria.More pictures below.
