 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. LAGOS BASED LEBANESE,DONATE'S N80MILLION TO LAGOS SECURITY FUND.

      They are called the Lebanese Nigeria Initiative,a group of Lebanese business men and women in Lagos.Not only did they donate N80million but also donated a troop carrier truck.Presenting the cheque,Haddad said the donation was made in the name of the Lebanese business community that it was to show the appreciation the Lebanese community had towards Nigeria.She said ''This country had allowed our Lebanese citizens to establish business which has afforded them the opportunity to contribute to the country's economy.It also helped us to show appreciation to the state government'ts effort to ensure that the state is well secured.We hope that this contribution will further boost the provision of security apparatus in the state''.Governor Fashola was presented with the check and he thanked them for it.One more picture below.                                                                                       troop carrier truck also donated

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
