 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event.  A scene from Rihanna's video, produced by her record label Universal Music, features the U.S popstar in a red dress by a wall in plastic wrapping with black tape X-marks. The scene appears to be similar to photographs taken by Paulus           Rihanna could be banned because a German Photographer Pjhilip Paulus 22,based in New York ,claims some scenes in Rihanna's bondage themed video were based on his fashion photography series ''paper world''.Paulus work included a woman in a red dress held against a wall in plastic wrapping with black tape X-marks.Rihanna's video produced by her record label Universal music,features the Rihanna in a similar set up with plastic wrapping and crosses.More pictures below.                                                                                                      Paulus' Lawyer, copyright specialist Philip Jakober, said Universal Music Group had admitted the similarities some time ago but had not made a reasonable offer to settle the matterOne of the scenes from Rihanna's 'S&M' music video which a German artist says is copied from his workGerman photographer Philipp Paulus, who is suing Rihanna and her record company

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
