 Nigerian man takes up the challenge to be bur!ed alive for 24hours A Nigerian man who identifies as Young C has embarked on a challenge to be buried alive in a coffin for 24 hours.  He made this known in a series of posts on his Instagram page on Wednesday,  stating that the stunt was genuine and not a hoax.  He announced his intention to broadcast live footage from the coffin at night. Sharing a video on his Instagram account on Wednesday, he said, "I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake.  "And the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night." In a subsequent update, Young C revealed that he had been buried for over 8 hours and was experiencing physical discomfort, including excessive sweating. In an update on Wednesday evening, he said in part, "Guys, I have been buried alive for over 8 hours now. For those of you who saw my first video, I have been down here.                    Yoruba leaders today warned potentia yoruba delegates that will represent them at the National conference,that during the conference,they should not betray the cause of the race and threatening that if that should happen,the consequence would be grievous.This was reached at the Yoruba constitutional conference held at House of Chiefs house.secretariat,Ibadan.Wale Oshun,the chairman of Afenifere Renewal Group {ARG},warned president Goodluck Jonathan to expunge the idea of no go area in the agenda of the conference.He described the event as a stepping stone to the proposed National conference,stressing that ''our expectation today,is that our joint deliberations will guide and lead us in determining and redefining our stance about the proposed National conference''.The various groups and individuals that spoke at the event all said that those to be sent should not just be anybody,but those that are sound and mentally alert,sincere and genuine Yoruba sons and daughters.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
