 INEC Strengthens the Conduct of Elections in Nigeria As Nigeria advances towards the 2027 general elections, the need for early planning, strategic coordination, and strong institutional cohesion has become critical to the delivery of free, fair, and credible polls. The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Professor Joash Amupitan, stated this at a strategic meeting with key stakeholders in Lagos.         The Nigerian being brutalised by Cape Town police                                                        The report reaching my desk is that two South African police officers who were allegedly caught on video taking part in the beating and stripping of an un armed Nigerian on Cape Town street,have been arrested.The officers aged 42 and 45 years old would appear in court on Monday on charges of assault.On friday video footage showing two armed uniform policemen and private guards punching and kicking a man on Cape town street went viral,prompting public out rage.Just in case you have not seen the video,watch it below.
