 BREAKING NEWS ANAMBRA POLICE RECORD FURTHER BREAKTHROUGH IN OGIDI, RECOVER MORE ARMS In continuation of an earlier operation by Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad, Awkuzu, which led to the arrest of three suspects and recovery of arms in Ogidi on 21st March 2026, the Anambra State Police Command has recorded further breakthrough following sustained investigation and interrogation. The Operatives made additional progress with the arrest of the suspected ringleader of the syndicate, one Chukwuka Anene ‘M’, aged 46 years, who confessed to being the armourer of the gang. The suspect subsequently led Police operatives to the gang’s hideout in Ogidi, where the following items were recovered: two pump-action guns, two locally made Beretta pistols, five rounds of 9mm ammunition, seven live cartridges, a beret linked to a cult group, and body armour. CO-PILOT LAST WORDS FROM THE MISSING MALAYSIAN PLANE.

                   The co-pilot of the missing Malaysian plane,spoke his last words heard from the cock pit.The airline Chief Executive today Monday said,that they are considering suicide by the captain or first officer as one possile explanation for the disappearance.Suspicions of hijacking or sabotage had hardened further when officials said on sunday thar the last radio message from the plane an informal ''All right,good night'',was spoken after the system,known as ''ACARS'',was shut down.Ahmad Jauhari said today,''Initial investigations indicate it was the co-pilot who basically spoke the last time it was recorded on tape''.The last transmission from the ACARS system,a maintenance computer that relays data on the plane's status had been received at 1.07am,as the plane crossed Malaysia's northeast coast and headed out over the Gulf of Thailand.Ahmad Jauhari further said ''We don't know when the ACARS was switched off after that.It was supposed to transmit 30 minutes from there,but thar transmission did not come through''.

 How Suspected Phone Snatchers Killed Army Lieutenant In Kaduna  An army officer identified as Lieutenant IM Abubakar has reportedly been hacked to death by a gang that specialises in phone snatching and other crimes. The deceased was killed in the Unguwan Sarki area of Kaduna metropolis during the week. A popular counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in Lake Chad, Zagazola Makama disclosed this in a Twitter post. Makama described Abubakar as a talented officer.  He said, “Lt IM Abubakar(Isa) A Young Talented Army Officer Was Killed By Phone Snatchers on His Way Home In Unguwan Sarki, Kaduna. May his soul rest in peace.”
