 FG Reaffirms Commitment To Operationalize Sokoto Hajj Airport Ahead Of 2026 Pilgrimage The Federal Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development announced that the Sokoto State Hajj Airport is set to become operational ahead of the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage. The Minister of Aviation and Eerospace Festus Keyamo reaffirmed this commitment during a meeting with Sokoto State Governor Dr. Ahmed Aliyu. Keyamo highlighted Sokoto's importance for Hajj operations and assured that relevant agencies are working to meet necessary infrastructure and operational requirements. He directed officials to identify and address potential bottlenecks. Governor Aliyu says the airport project is 90% completed and funded by the state government with five aircraft being acquired. He appealed for expedited approvals to operationalize the airport for the 2026 Hajj. The Ministry remains committed to enhancing aviation infrastructure under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda. One more photo below...

GOLDA HUMPHREY,A REAL LIFE PINOCCHIO.

Golda Humphrey                                                            A grandmother has been left with a disfigured nose after doctor failed to notice she had a tumour,the size of turnip growing on her nose.she has a hole in the centre of her face after a series of life saving operations to move a cancerous growth from the end of her nose.The problem developed when she was in hospital and over nearly five months a scab repeatedly formed on tip of her nose before falling off.Doctors initially dismissed the growth as a reaction to the medication she was given after breaking her leg.Each time it came back the sore got bigger and nurses jokingly nicknamed her Pinocchio.Mrs Humphrey.a retired bus conductor said ''I understand they butchered my face to save my life,and i'm very grateful.During the time the tumour was growing on my face,i saw dozens of doctors and nurses many of whom commented about it but did not even bother doing any tests.When i was finally diagnosed with skin cancer,it was too late.The tumour was so big it had spread to my lip and i had to have two operations to remove it.More pictures below.                 Golda HumphreyGolda Humphrey                                          Mrs Humphrey (pictured with her daughter, Golda, and granddaughter, Shannon) now has a large hole in her nose.  How Suspected Phone Snatchers Killed Army Lieutenant In Kaduna  An army officer identified as Lieutenant IM Abubakar has reportedly been hacked to death by a gang that specialises in phone snatching and other crimes. The deceased was killed in the Unguwan Sarki area of Kaduna metropolis during the week. A popular counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in Lake Chad, Zagazola Makama disclosed this in a Twitter post. Makama described Abubakar as a talented officer.  He said, “Lt IM Abubakar(Isa) A Young Talented Army Officer Was Killed By Phone Snatchers on His Way Home In Unguwan Sarki, Kaduna. May his soul rest in peace.”
