 STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE  PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS MINISTER OF STATE FOR PETROLEUM RESOURCES (GAS) AS CO-CHAIRMAN OF NCDMB GOVERNING COUNCIL In line with his avowed commitment to establish a more efficient, targeted, and consistent approval process for unique oil and gas projects in the country, President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Ekperikpe Ekpo, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), as the Co-Chairman of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB). This is also to further ensure effective oversight of the gas aspect of the nation's assets. The President remains committed to unlocking Nigeria's immense gas potential to stimulate industrial development, job creation, and sustainable economic growth. HUGH JACKMAN RETURNS FOR WOLVERINE FILM 3 IN 2017.

Back in business: Hugh Jackman will return as famous X-Men character Wolverine in a third solo film, pictured in a scene from X-Men Origins: Wolverine              Hugh Jackman will be returning for the 3rd  Wolverine film.A sequel to the wolverine itself is a sequel to to X-men origins.His contract with FOX officially ended after he finished filming X-men ''Days of Future Past'',last year.Hugh Jackman said previously that he was getting too old to maintain the hardcore workout regime required to portray wolverine's muscular physique but all what he said about getting old was put aside when these new arrangement came up.Maybe what they offered him changed his mind,with film set to be released in 3rd of March 2017.The story will be written by David James Kelly who is also penning a Daredevil Reboot for FOX.One more picture below.                                                                                           Cinematic snickt: The Aussie star as the Marvel character in a scene from 2013's The Wolverine

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her. Namtira said if the school authorities fail to sanction the student bullies within 48 hours of the receipt of the letter, she would seek immediate and severe legal redress against the school.
