  Chelsea confirm talks with Uefa over finances Chelsea have confirmed they are in talks with Uefa over their financial sustainability following a potential breach of the governing body's Financial Fair Play rules. The Blues are in talks with Uefa over a settlement relating to their financial results for the year ending June 2024, where the club posted a pre-tax profit of £128.4m, their first since Todd Boehly's Clearlake Capital consortium took ownership of the club. That figure includes their £200m valuation of their highly successful women's team in a "repositioning" as a separate business from the men's team in a deal with parent company BlueCo at the end of the season. The £200m valuation, which would be a record for a women's team, is yet to be approved by Uefa or the Premier League. Always working: He may have been on a break from his Yeezus tour in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday but Kanye West still managed to fit in some self-promotion            On Sunday,Kanye West was spotted taking a helicopter ride in Rio de Janeiro and he couldn't have looked happier.He was given a tour from the air round the city,dressed in a Yeesus T-shirt,a nice piece os self promotion for his tour,which will continue in Australia in May following a break.Accompanied by body guards and some pals.Kanye who is staying in the Zong Sul {south zone} of Rio,a area popular with tourists.also visited a music studio in the Botanical Gardens in the area.More pictures below.                                  Someone's having fun!  Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
