PLATEAU STATE GOVERNOR SEEKS DEEPER SECURITY COLLABORATION WITH NAF In a bid to reinforce internal security and deepen intergovernmental collaboration, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, on Tuesday, 16 December 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Headquarters, Abuja, where he met with the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, DFS. The visit underscored the Governor’s commitment to leveraging strategic federal partnerships to address evolving security challenges in Plateau State and the wider North Central region, while conveying the goodwill of the government and people of the state and congratulating the CAS on his appointment as the 23rd Chief of the Air Staff. Governor Mutfwang commended the Nigerian Air Force for its sustained efforts in maintaining peace and responding to security threats in Plateau State, acknowledging the complexity of the operating environment. MR GARETH'S SNAKE,BITES HIS NEIGHBOURS BREAST.

Painful: Caroline Griffin says she screamed and tried to sit up when she realised there was an animal in her bed. At this point the snake bit into her breast, leaving bruising and puncture marks            A large snake,attacked a mother of four children,Caroline Griffin.The large snake,crawled into her bed while she was sleeping and bit her on her breast.She was so lucky when it turned out that the snake was a harmless brown belly California king snake which had escaped from a neighbours home six months earlier.She said ''I was about to get up to get the kids ready for school when i threw the duret back and saw it sitting on my chest.I thought the kids were playing some sort of trick on me at first.Then i saw it move and i got the fright of my life.As soon as i started to scream,it bit me on the breast.It was quit soure.I thought i was going to die''.News spread along the street and a short time later the snake owner Gareth Niven,21 years,arrived at her frount door to collect it.Mr Gareth Niven said the snake,which he calls Hiss,had escaped from his tank six months earlier and is likely to have been living in a derelict house that separates his and Ms Griffin's properties.It is believed council workers who recently visited the abandoned house may have disturbed Hiss and caused him to move into Ms Griffin's house.More pictures below.                                        Caroline GriffinHelp: As she suffered no immediate ill health as a result of the bite, Ms Griffin asked her children to take photographs of the snake and call the Scottish SPCAOn the loose: The snake's owner Gareth Niven (pictured) said Hiss escaped from his tank six months ago. Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
