Somali PM calls on Somaliland to cut Israel ties, urges reconciliation Somali Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre has called on Somaliland’s leadership to cut ties with Israel and to resolve disputes with the federal government through dialogue. Barre said relations among Somalis should be addressed through talks rather than confrontation, in remarks during a ceremony to mark the first anniversary of the establishment of North East State. In December 2025, Israel announced mutual recognition with Somaliland, a move strongly rejected by the Somali government as a breach of its sovereignty and territorial integrity and criticised by many countries across the world. “Regarding our brothers in Somaliland, I have nothing new to say. 56 years old Alphonsus Ezie,a prophet at the celestial church of Christ Igando,was arrested by the police over an alleged false prophecy he made to his church members.He told his church members that he had a vision that they would travel abroad.The victims said they discovered it was all a lie.They claimed that Eze told them that God had opened their way to Netherlands and ask them to go and obtain international passport and a visa for the trip from his accoplice ,Samuel.More than 16 excited members believed him and went to meet Samuel in a hotel in Egbeda to pay for their traveling documents with faith.Samuel fled with ther money and members of the church realised Eze is also Samuel's accomplice.The angry members handed the prophet to the police.The police later arrested Samuel and the two suspects were charged to court with obtaining and stealing money under false pretence.This world na wa ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
