 TROOPS OF OPHK SUSTAIN OFFENSIVES, NEUTRALISE TERRORISTS , RECORD SURRENDERS IN BORNO STATE Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have sustained intense offensive operations against Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists across Borno State, recording notable successes in clearance, fighting patrols and blocking operations. Under Operation DESERT SANITY V, sustained pressure along the Azir–Wajiroko axis on 10 January 2026 forced 11 terrorists fighters to surrender along with their AK 47 rifles and assorted ammunition. Earlier, on 9 January 2026, troops conducted extensive clearance operations in the Bulaagalda cluster, destroying several active terrorist enclaves and camps at Dagumba, Bonne, Yaganari, Gosuri and Umchile, including the notorious Abu Nazir and Abu Ahmed camps. ASSASSIN FLY.

        An extinct species of assassin fly that lived during the age of the dinosaurs has been discovered inside a translucent tomb of amer.A male and female of the new species were preserved in pieces of Burmese amber from Myanmars Hukawng valley.It measures less than inch in length and are anout 100 million years old.The insects get their name from their precise and gruesome way of killing.After a midflight ambush,assasin flies stab their preys exoskeleton and injects digestive juices so that they can suck out the liquid inside like a milk shake,leaving an empty hull behind.A scientis at the Smithsonian National musuem of Nattural history discovered and named the fly ''Assassin fly''.
