 Tinubu To World Leaders: We Won’t Raise Taxes On Vulnerable Nigerians .....Says his administration prioritising the poor  ....Governors to take position on tax bills  ....We strongly support reforms – IMF President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured world leaders that his administration will continue to prioritise the welfare of the poor and most vulnerable even as the economic reforms bear fruit. President Tinubu stated this on Wednesday night in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, when the managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Kristalina Georgieva, paid him a courtesy call on the sidelines of the G20 Leaders’ Summit. While acknowledging that the reforms had weakened Nigerians’ purchasing power, President Tinubu, in a statement by his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, said his administration will continue to provide social safety nets to cushion the unintended consequences.                                           Damilola Adegbite a former Tinsel star,is now expecting her first child with her fiance,Chrus Attoh,also an ex Tinsel star.Sources claimed that they have postponed their wedding ,which was scheduled for April 12,to an unknown date.Why postpone a wedding a wedding for a pregnancy?,is't not the wedding that will make them a legal couple?,is not sounding right to me,there is more to it.

  SSANU, NASU threaten strike over withheld salaries The Joint Action Committee of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions have threatened to disrupt industrial peace in universities should the government fail to release the withheld salaries of members. The salaries were seized by the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari during their strike in 2022. The unions, in a joint letter signed on Friday by the President of SSANU, Muhammed Ibrahim and General Secretary of NASU, Peters Adeyemi, questioned the rationale with which the government released four months withheld salaries to members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities but failed to release the withheld salaries of non-academic staff.
