 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service.             According to sources at a public presentation of a book,titled ''Giants of History'', written by Lagos state commissioner for information and strategy,Aderemi Ibirogba at the Civic Centre,Lagos,he says ''The video advert comparing some select world leaders like president Barack Obama,the late president Nelson Mandela and former Singaporean president,Lee Kuan Yew with Jonathan,is say to say the least blasphemous.If those people think everything is all right,then it must be two things,it is either they are watching the news on black and white television sets or they are reading the newspaper upside down.It is not the leader who would tell us that he or she is great.We would be the ones to say it and acknowledge it because we wear the shoes and know where it hurts.At the end of the day,when the people are still crying out about their safety and electricity issues,it means that we are not speaking the same language and that we are not responding to the same stimuli''.Please Nigerian's remember when you point someone with one finger,four fingers is pointing back at you.
