 ZIMBABWEAN COUPLE DEPORTED OVER SECRET BURIAL OF CHILD IN BOTSWANA A Zimbabwean couple has been deported from Botswana after secretly burying their child without notifying authorities. Motilinah Mpofu and Christopher Ncube were convicted on Thursday of concealing a death after they allegedly dug a grave for their child in the dead of night. The Gaborone court heard the child had died suddenly. Instead of reporting the death to police, health officials, or traditional leaders, the couple quietly buried the youngster and hoped no one would find out. But the secret did not stay buried for long.   Police moved in and arrested the pair. In sentencing, the court ordered that the couple be taken to the Plumtree Border Post for deportation to Zimbabwe.  Top Botswana lawyer Winnie Masitha who offered the couple free legal representation during the trial, confirmed the deportation to BTV News. PHOTO: YUSUF MUHAMMED                    The person in that picture above is called Kasali,he was a witness to the robbery that took place in his estate in Ogun state.Mr Tajudeen Kasali,is one of the victims of robbery attack and he resides at 29,Adebayo Oduntola Drive in the estate said the robbers arrived the estate around 2am and were robbing from house to house when one of the residents called Baba Alhaja.who coordinates security in the estate,to inform him about the robbery.Baba Alhaja called the police but before they got to the estate,Ahmed Balogun who resided at 27 Adebayo Oduntayo drive had been killed by the robbers.''When the robbers came to my house they broke the front door and robbed my children who were sleeping in the first room before they forced my door open and asked me why i did not open the door by myself,before i knew what was happening,they used a rod to hit my head.All my children's money,hones and jewelry were collected but i still thank God that nobody was killed exept my neigbour Balogun who was killed this,as soon as Balogun came out of his house.he was shot dead''.
