 Kwara Govt donates 150 off-road motorcycles to Nigerian Army •LGAs acquire 320 motorcycles to boost vigilantes' security operations  In a bid to further strengthen security operations and maintain peace across Kwara State, His Excellency Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq-led Kwara State Government has donated 150 off-road motorcycles to the Nigerian Army. The motorcycles are expected to enhance troops' mobility and effectiveness, particularly in rugged terrains such as forests, where non-state actors may be hiding with intent to destabilise the peaceful atmosphere of the state. This strategic intervention follows recent reports of the disturbances of non-state actors in parts of Kwara South and Kwara North.  In response, on Monday, April 21, 2025, Governor AbdulRazaq led a high-powered joint security delegation on an operational assessment tour to the Kaiama Local Government Area in Kwara North. Cover girl: Serena appears in May's issue of Fitness magazine, on newsstands April 22           32 year old Serena Williams told Fitness magazine ''When i was young i thought i should be built more like an athlete long and lean not with a woman figure,ut then people my age started coming up to me and saying i love you because of the way you look.So i learned to be proud of my curves and embrace my large boobs.It's about loving who you are and realizing that you're beautiful.For me it's so important to mix it up,i ran,and then i biked.I did elliptical,i tried yoga.I started dancing because i couldn't train when i was sick.We started making movies and it was fun.Now i run for 10 minutes and then i dance.  Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. The Appellant is an actor. He acted in a script that he was invited to act by his colleague (PW1), Damilola Adekoya,” he said.
