 Texas woman charged with medical child abuse for falsifying toddler’s health and pushing unnecessary feeding tube surgeries A Texas woman has been charged with medical child abuse after allegedly falsifying her toddler’s medical history to pressure doctors into performing unnecessary procedures, including feeding tube surgeries, in what authorities are calling a “sickening” case. Kaitlyn Rose Laura, 31, faces charges of injury to a child and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Officials said she deliberately misled medical staff about her 3-year-old son’s health to obtain a gastrostomy tube and later a gastrojejunostomy tube, despite no documented medical need. Investigators allege that hospital staff observed the boy eating normally while Laura claimed he refused all food. Covert surveillance confirmed the child was able to eat meals without difficulty, prompting authorities to stop tube feedings. TASK FORCE ARRESTED 186 HOODLUMS IN OSHODI.

•Suspected hoodlums arrested at Oshodi early today                                                     According to a national news paper,suspected 186 hoodlums were arrested today when officials of the Lagos state environmental and special offences unit stormed Oshodi Lagos state.Those arrested include 33 underage children and a mother with her five children,The children,will be taken to the Lagos state correctional centre for rehabilitation.They raided the area between 12.30am and 1.30am.206 suspected hoodlums were initially arrested but after screening,20 people were set free.Task force chairman,Bayo Sulaiman,Chief Superintendent of police,said ''After we arrested some last last week,we decided to do a follow up because the exercise is continuous.We don't know where these people came from but we will continue to monitor Oshodi.Mothers take care of your children.They should not allow their children to get back to the street again''.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
