 Super eagles coach Eric Chelle has signed for a new sports agency to represent him henceforth.  Eric Chelle, head coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, has signed with a new sports agency to represent him going forward.  The move is expected to strengthen his professional management and strategic engagements within the global football space.

REUTERS/Afolabi Sotunde                            According to Finance Minister Ngozi Okonjo Iweala,She said ''There is no war,there is an insurgency,we are not in a Colombia situation''.This was what she said on sunday to an international magazine,in her car in Abuja on her way as she headed to the airport to fly to NewYork.She also said Boko Haram,who have raided schools,churches,government offices and security posts in theit fight to carve out an Islamist enclave,mostly affected around 5% of the nation's territory,the northeast states of Borno,Yobe and Adamawa,but she acknowledged Boko haram had shown it could strike further south.She said further ''WEF is still going to hold'',this what she said to the host of the African Davos which was previously been held in cities such as Cape town and Addis Ababa.Nigeria is mounting the largest security operation it had ever staged for an international summit,deploying 6,000 soldiers and police.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
