TROOPS ARREST SUSPECTED KIDNAPPER, RECOVER AK-47 RIFLE ALONG BENIN–SAPELE ROAD Troops of 4 Brigade Nigerian Army, Operation WABAIZIGAN, have arrested a suspected kidnapper and recovered an AK-47 rifle and ammunition during a targeted operation along the Benin–Sapele Road in Ikpoba-Okha LGA of Edo State. The suspect, identified as Olamide Oyeniyi, was arrested on 12 September 2026 at Obaretin Community by troops conducting operations to disrupt criminal activities and safeguard major transportation routes within the area. Items recovered from the suspect include one AK-47 rifle, one magazine and eight rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunition. Other items recovered are one Tecno mobile phone, two bags, one torchlight, one music box and assorted charms. According to the boko haram member Sale Abubakar who spoke to CBS correspondent Debora Patta that the boko haram group is planning another kidnapping.Saleh has been a boko haram member for seven years though he was a little it relunctant to speak to the CBS reporter.He said ''we go to their school and attack some of soldiers and policeman''.He told CBS News he'd seen the girls three weeks ago,and they were being cared for ''some of them will complain of headache,we have medicine,we have everything in place where we keep them.If Allah wish,nothing will happen to them,but we ask the government if they don't release our brothers we are not going to release them.I will not tell you what we are going to do''.Watch the video below.This CBS no they fear ohhhhhhhhh.
